Communication after a MVA CTP Claim
We maintain communication between:
- The nominated treating doctor (GP)
- Your specialist if you have one
- Your insurance case manager
- Rehab consultant
- Employers (if applicable) to discuss appropriate return to work duties (Often the Rehab consultant will also be involved in this aspect)
- And any other health professionals involved in your care.
We regularly send reports and other relevant information to the above parties to ensure that you’re getting the best care possible and to make sure there is a seamless transition upon return to work (if applicable) or to your previous functional ability pre-accident.
Can I start Physiotherapy treatment before my MVA Physio Treatment CTP Claim is approved?
Yes, you can.
You do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist.
Although to ensure your injuries are stable, it’ best to see your GP first and get your CTP claim started.
Starting a claim with the insurers can be difficult and time-consuming.
However, for us to directly bill the insurer, you will need to lodge a claim with your CTP insurer.
