The Interview

The Interview Also known as the Subjective Assessment.

Once the patient has filled out the intake form, the form is passed on to the Physiotherapist who reviews the information. The Physiotherapist greets the patient and invites them into the treatment room. Where the form is discussed in more detail. The patient is asked how the Physiotherapist can assist them with their symptoms. After hearing all of the patient’s concerns, the Physiotherapist chooses in consultation with the patient the main issues they would like addressed.

The next part of the assessment, the Physiotherapist asks detailed questions into the symptoms the patient may be experiencing. Such as when did the injury take place, what type of symptoms is the patient experiencing? What makes the symptoms better or worse.
